Lancaster Group is starting a new project for the construction of an integrated polysilicon plant in Kazakhstan. The project involves future production of 2500 MT of polysilicon in Kazakhstan, which in turn, will produce an equivalent of 250 MWp of solar wafers.
Through the implementation of this project Lancaster Group will contribute to the global renewable energy industry. The capital expenditure is estimated at USD 350 million. The plant will be launched in 2009 and will reach full production by early 2011.
